Nana's Birthday

Faith, Lizz, and I took Nana/Mom to a real Tea Party for her birthday! She loved the place we took her to, Englund's Tea Cottage in Clayton.

Faith got into it with her big ol' Sunday Bests Hat, but she just got plum tuckered out and couldn't resist a little nap!

The gift I gave my mom was sorta regifted from Christmas, a collage frame, but this time with pictures in it! It's intended to go up in her new office at work (yay no more cubical!) to give her a laugh every morning. Just to clue you in as to how big an 8x10 of a 4-month old head is, its bigger than her Actual Size head!

After tea, we headed to Nana and Papa's house for some crazy french dish (ala Julia Child) that my dad made. Two words: Fish Mousse. Actually, it was quite good... but I can barely pronounce the darn dish, let alone spell it! How about this: Shirley-be-yahk. That's pretty close! ;)

My sister made an AMAZING Malted Milk Ball cake for dessert. It was retarded good!

It's not a real party without party tricks! Jamie got to test out the switching glasses trick... the point is to get the scotch and water to switch glasses. It really works! Can you see the scotch in the top glass?

We also took a family picture... which in itself was a party! I swear, it took us over an hour to set up the one shot, but we ended up getting only four good shots. Here are two of them!
