Jason has decided to rip up our deck to make way for the MANY things we have dreamed of doing back there (grass for Faith, a hot tub, french doors from our bedroom, a play structure, a trampoline, etc...). He has gotten QUITE a rhythm going and we project we'll have what we want removed by the weekend. The next weekend we are renting a dumpster and my dad will come by to help load the scrap into it (for 2 6-packs of a beer of his choice. He's easy to please). We are planning on doing a MAJOR house purge and toss all the stuff that we haven't touched for 2 or more years! My first REAL "Spring Cleaning!"
The only downfall to this project is that, while our dogs LOVE to frolic in the dirt, with the rain we had, my guest bathroom is disgusting!
No Deck + 2 Crazy Dogs + a night of rain = 8 very muddy feet!
They had to stay in the bathroom until their feet dried and I could brush them off. Luckily they didn't mind so much...but now I am afraid to let them out again! They *hate* being cooped up!

Oh my what a job...so let me ask, what are you doing with the benches and the planters? It almost looked like you tore those up too. If you aren't going to keep them I want them..ok.
