Faith looks at picture books and tells us the emotions/actions the subject is experiencing (often, it's "saaaad", which in itself is saaaad). She also points out playing, crying, laughing, reading, etc., so it's not all saaad.
Today, while watching the dogs playing, Maddie making her weird throaty growling she does when she is playing (or when Jason is pinning her down in a very unfair headlock), Faith giggled and said "Maddie's Laughing!". Indeed...
(and for the record, I won't be reprimanding Maddie anymore when she makes that noise. I couldn't ever imagine telling anyone to stop laughing... and I really do think Faith was right).
