Faith has been battling a cold for about 2 weeks now, and is really taking the old adage "Starve a fever, feed a cold" to heart. She's always been a very slow eater, so her breakfast seems to last straight through to lunch!! Recently, its consisted of nothing less than 2 egg whites from hardboiled eggs (she doesn't like "the yellow"), a cup of oatmeal, an apple, a glass of milk, and while she's sick, a glass of orange juice. As soon as she finishes her breakfast, she asks for a snack!
She's either burning wicked calories during her day fighting this cold or she's going through a growth spurt. We took her to the doctors the other day and she had gained a full POUND since September!! Last year alone, she gained only 3lbs. Between her and Josie (also going through a growth spurt), I spend a majority of my day feeding one mouth or another.
