We stained our patio with Mason Select products! WE LOVE IT! (well, the half of it that we had enough product to actually finish today :)
The prep work for staining is MUCH more time consuming than the actual staining. WE had to powerwash, "etch" (to make it gritty like extra coarse sandpaper), powerwash again, and let dry completely.
We chose the "blending" effect for the stain and applied our two colors (Brownstone and Patina Green) from garden sprayers. The Patina Green was the base coat and the Brownstone was applied over the base, while it was still wet. The staining itself only took about 20 minutes!

Uhhhh...Not EXACTLY what I meant by "powerwashing" ;)

Unstained concrete (and our mission for tomorrow). This is just after one powerwashing session. Tomorrow morning, we will do the etcher, second powerwashing, drying, and staining.

And AFTER! We are debating putting a third coat over to even out the "lines" that you can kinda see. We're also planning on sealing it, but are unsure if we should do it matte, or glossy.

Such a difference!

As it dries, you can really see the depth and texture of the colors.
I LOVE it!
